Welcome! I am Andy, a registered CBT therapist based in Bristol. I can offer support for a range of mental health issues including stress, low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, and trauma. The form of therapy that I offer involves a very practical, scientifically evidenced approach aimed at helping you to understand your difficulties and then overcome it through developing a toolkit of techniques. This style of approach aims to not only help you right now but will also supports you to maintain mental wellbeing in the long term once therapy has finished.

I have over ten years experience working in mental health and I have several postgraduate level qualifications in psychology and evidence based therapies. As part of my role I attend regular ongoing professional development so that I can provide you with the most cutting edge treatment currently available. “Andy was just brilliant with me, it was clearly something I needed in my life and since his therapy my outlook on life has completely changed. I feel like a better person now and only have him to thank”

“Andy was fantastic across the full length of the therapy. He was a calming and consistent presence who explained things clearly with a straight-forward sense of care, while also allowing ample time for feedback, questions, and open-ended discussions. The overall service was incredibly appreciated and extremely beneficial to me across a range of challenges. It’s helped me to manage my difficulties as well as understand why they’re happening.”
